Our History
How the Club started.

The club was registered as a business.
11 April 1928
The Cebu Country Club, which has the premier golf course in Cebu, was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under W.C.A Palmer until 1929.

The club started with a 9-hole course.
1929
The course invited many golfers as a recreational activity and business meetings at the same time.

Additional 9-hole course added.
1960's
Following the success of the first 9-hole course, the club added an additional 9-hole course to accommodate the growing members.

The birth of PAR 72
1980's
In the 1980s, golf chairman Ramontito Garcia renovated the course and made it into a PAR 72. This paved way to more events and additional members.

The Clubhouse
1981
A new clubhouse was built in 1981 and its facilities include a restaurant, a bar, a ballroom and function rooms. It also boasts of modern locker rooms for men, ladies and guests. Other amenities include three tennis courts, two badminton courts and a swimming pool. The Proshop features a wide array of signature equipment and apparel.

The redesign of the courses
1990's
The management agreed that the courses need to be redesigned to cater to a more growing population of Cebu Golfers and also to have a prestigiuos, premium Golf Course ready to be in the spot light of Cebu and the Visayas. Gary Player and associates were contracted to redesign the course.
